与你同在
一个人有一天晚上做了一个梦。梦见他与上帝一同在海边散步。远远的天空中映现出他生命的历程。他注意到，他生命历程中的每一个景色，都会在沙滩上留下两对脚印：一对属于他自己，另一对属于上帝。
当他生命历程中的最后一幕景色出现在天空上时，他回头望了一眼沙滩上的脚印。他又一次注意到，在他人生历程中有很多时刻，只有一对脚印留在沙滩上，而且那都是在他人生中最困难和悲伤的日子。
他不解的问上帝：“上帝，你说我一旦跟随你，你就会与我永远在一起。但我看到，在我生命中最困苦的时候，却总是只有一对脚印。我不明白，为什么在我最需要你的时候，你却离我而去？”
上帝回答道：“我珍爱的孩子，我爱你，并且永远不会离开你。当你承受煎熬和痛苦的时候，你只看到了一对脚印。是的，那时是我在肩负你同行。”
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonging to him, and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life. This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it.
"Load, you said that once I decided to follow You, You'd walk with me all the way. But i have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is ony one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed You most You would leave me."
The Lord replied, "My son, my precious child, I love you and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you。"
